Private security is NOT permitted to carry firearms in Canada. As a result, we do not offer this service.

A security site assessment, or physical risk assessment is an evaluation conducted by a security professional that includes an inventory of the assets to be protected, alongside actionable recommendations on how best to protect them. At Red Mark Security, we’ve conducted risk assessments for companies as diverse as corporate headquarters, retail stores, and public sector buildings.

We train our security guards thoroughly. They can and will make an arrest if necessary. They understand the extent of the legal rights present when making a citizen’s arrest. However, our guards are prohibited from using handcuffs or any kind of restraint. When making an arrest caution is necessary. If a guard feels an arrest could compromise their personal safety, they reserve the right to call 911 instead of performing a citizen’s arrest. Yes, we are fully insured, registered with WCB & a licensed security guard company. All of our security guards are licensed. Unfortunately, there are security companies that look to cut corners however they can. If a quote is too good to be true, it just might be the reason. Maintaining proper insurance, licenses and training all come at a cost; these are strict requirements and you should not hesitate to ask for documentation from the security guard company that you are considering to hire.

We follow a robust supervision and management program which is clear to all of our employees and they understand their accountability in every situation. We assign a primary account manager to each contract so our clients do not feel left out. They are professional & responsive to the client’s need. Our managers ensure quality service & are reachable through phone calls and emails. We also evaluate our service levels with the client from time to time to see if there is any need for improvement or changes. We love taking feedbacks and resolving issues.

As the role of security professionals continues to evolve, Red Mark Security saw the need to train our staff to handle any scenario in a calm and reassuring manner. That’s why we train our staff through regular seminars & discussions on issues that they face on their worksite, we guide them on how to change their approach if they ever feel stuck in providing best services to our clients.
